Data safety (prevention of loss or leakage of data) and data security (prevention of illegal use) are central concerns for me.

As a member of the board of representatives of the scientific staff of the university of Bielefeld, I was responsible for counselling my fellow board members in IT security questions.

Holding the same position, I was involved in the auditing of an identity management (IM) system. These systems are especially sensitive since they are used to manage personal data of staff.

These days, I am developing an extension for Typo3 that can securely handle personal data in the web mail system of AWO.
