This was the internet (and many more) server of a working group I was part of at the university of Bielefeld; also known by lubitsch.lili.uni-bielefeld.de. This was a linux machine that hosted an apache server with php module and mysql connectivity... LAMP, as they call it. In addition, the samba suite was running to turn the machine into a common workspace for the working group. The 400 GB scsi hard drive offered space for recordings of scientific studies we conducted.
I managed some dozen accounts from different departments (computer science, linguistics).

These days I'm running a number of test servers for the development of websites; my preferred OS still is linux in different flavors, all with apache servers and mysql/postgresql databases.
